Teachers will be available in their classrooms during the following times: Wednesday 4:30pm-8:30pm; Thursday 8:00am-11:00am; Thursday 2:30pm-5:00pm; and Thursday from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Due to OHA and ODE regulations masks are required while at conference. We look forward to seeing you soon!

NES Parents: A quick schedule for the short week ahead: Monday is jersey day - wear your favorite team’s jersey to school; Tuesday is country-western day; Wednesday is Halloween costume day. We’ll send out additional Halloween details on Monday.

Nyssa High School Families: We have had a great homecoming week. Thank you for your support during the parade! Soccer games start at 1:00 today. Football is tonight against Vale at 7:00pm. The Homecoming Dance is tomorrow at 8:00pm in the Nyssa Middle School cafeteria. Let's cheer our athletes on to victory while also being a role model of good sportsmanship. It is a good day to be a Bulldog! Be Nyssa, Be Proud, Be One!!
Nyssa High School Families: As part of our homecoming activities this week, we will be having a homecoming parade tomorrow October 22 from 11:40 to 12:06. The parade will leave the high school and go down Adrian and Main street and then return to the high school on Good Avenue. We welcome anyone who would like to watch and cheer on our NHS students.

The fire department responded to an alarm today at the school, set off by a malfunction in the heating system as it was starting up for the season. We are addressing the problem. Everyone is safe.

We will be finishing up fall middle school sports next week. Reminder for your student to sign up for the winter sports teams. 7 & 8 grade Girls Basketball and 6, 7, & 8th Wrestling (boys & girls) will be starting over the next two weeks. 7 & 8 Grade boys basketball will start after the winter break.

NHS Fans: We appreciate all those who attend our sporting events. We need your help with ensuring that as a group we show good sportsmanship at all home and away competitions. Please be encouraging not negative, fair not foul, and supportive not harassing so that everyone can continue to enjoy athletics. It is important that we support the officials even when we don't agree and are always positive role models for our youth. Those who can not maintain sportsmanlike conduct may be required to leave or be banned from future events. We greatly appreciate your help!
