There will be a short parade this evening to honor our 2021 graduates starting at 9:00pm from the Metal Works shop by the underpass and going to Nyssa High School. The graduates will then load the bus at 9:45pm for their overnight party at Wahooz. We are super proud of each of our graduates!! Have fun and be safe!

Estamos emocionados de poder ofrecer una graduación en-persona. Graduación será el domingo 30 de mayo a la una de la tarde en el estadio de fútbol americano de Nyssa. Habrá espacio para todos los parientes de los graduados. Hay un riesgo mayor debido al tamaño del evento. Si alguien tiene Covid, ha sido expuesto a covid, o tiene síntomas no deben asistir. Todos los participantes necesitan llevar mascarillas y mantener la distancia social con otras familias. Para que todos puedan disfrutar la celebración, por favor de no traer globos porque se impiden la vista para otros, y también no generadores de ruido. Favor de mantenerse sentados y no tomar fotos hasta el fin de la ceremonia.

We are excited to be able to offer an in-person graduation ceremony this school year. Graduation will be held on Sunday May 30 at 1:00 at our Bulldog Football Stadium. There should be adequate room for all family members to attend. There is an increased risk of covid exposure at this event due to this being a large group setting. Anyone who has tested positive, has been exposed to covid, or has any symptoms, should not attend. All participants will be required to wear a mask and social distance between families. So that all may enjoy graduation, please do not bring balloons as they block the view, or noise makers, and please remain seated and wait to take pictures until after the ceremony.

NES parents: after 34 years of delivering kindness to kindergarteners, Toni Case is retiring. Please stop by for a minute to wish Toni well at our parking lot drive-thru event this Thursday from 3:00-4:00. Popsicles and music for everyone!

One more reminder that summer school will be free for ALL K-12 students who wish to attend. Please register by tomorrow! In order to attend summer school, you must commit to the following requirements:
1) Commit to attend school each day from June 3-30 (20 days), Monday-Friday each week.
2) Be on time! Schedule is 7:30 am – 3:00 pm each day.
3) Commit to work hard and play hard.
Areas of focus:
K-8 -- math, English, and science; hands-on learning, STEM, field trips, etc.
9-12 -- credit recovery.
4) Be willing to transport your child to school if we are unable to find enough bus drivers to fill the need.

8th GRADE PROMOTIONS - WEDNESDAY MAY 26th - 6 PM
The 8th grade promotions ceremony will be held outdoors on Wednesday May 26 at 6:00 PM at the NSD Football Stadium. There should be adequate room for all family members to attend.
