Estimados Padres y estudiantes, Como todos los distritos en Oregon, tenemos que poner un "Plan para COVID" en nuestro website para cada escuela en el distrito. Estos planes son para el ano escolar 2022-23, especificos para cada escuela. Contienen informacion que necesitan saber sobre lo que se requiere cuando una persona tiene COVID. Por favor, lean estos planes, y si tienen preguntas, pueden llamar la escuela para hablar con el director o la enfermera. Dear Nyssa School District Community,  Our school district is required to post a "COVID-19 Management Plan" on our website.  These plans are specific to each school and outline the steps we will take to keep our students and staff safe, if you have to quarantine, contact trace, etc. Please refer to these documents if you have any questions or call our school nurse by calling any of the schools.   You can find these documents as "live links" on each school's website. Estimados Padres y estudiantes, Un helicoptero se atterizo hoy en el campo de futbol de Nyssa High School. La persona que necesitaba esta atencion medica no es de Nyssa, pero nuestro campo es el mejor lugar para el helicoptero. Oramos por el bienestar de esta persona. Dear Nyssa School Community, As most of you know, the Nyssa High School football field is a landing site for Life Flight when there is an emergency. We had a Life Flight helicopter land today on our football field and it was late in the day, when school was almost out. All principals and supervisors were notified so they could keep students and staff out of the way. We are thankful for our first responders and appreciate their cooperation and quick thinking to take care of those in need. The person who needed Life Flight today is not from the Nyssa community, and we pray for their quick recovery.

Las familias de Nyssa High School, El primer día de escuela será este lunes 22 de agosto. ¡No podemos esperar! Los horarios de sus clases se encuentran por ParentVue y StudentVue. Al llegar lunes, los estudiantes deben asistir a su primera clase a las 8:00 y luego tendremos una asamblea a las 8:15. Necesitamos que todos asistan a la asamblea aun si no tienen una clase por el primer periodo. Gracias y nos vemos el lunes!

Nyssa High School Families, Our first day of School is Monday August 22. We are super excited to see everyone! Updated student schedules can be seen in ParentVue and StudentVue. On the first day all students will report to their first period class at 8:00 for attendance and then attend a school-wide assembly at 8:15. Please come for the assembly even if you don't have a first period class. See you Monday!

NES Kinder Parents: Reminder that the first day of school for Kinder students is 8/24 (for children with last names beginning with A-L) or 8/25 (for children with last names beginning with M-Z). All Kinder students attend 8/26, and thereafter. Padres de NES de Niños de Kinder: Recordatorio que el primer día de clases para los niños de Kinder está 8/24 (para niños con apellidos empezando con A-L); o 8/25 (para niños con apellidos empezando con M-Z). Todos los niños de Kinder asistiran 8/26 y despues.

NES Parents: Reminder that student drop-off in the morning is on Bower Avenue or in the main parking lot. Student pick-up in the afternoon is on Bower Avenue only. See you soon! NES parents: monthly PTO meeting Monday, August 15th at 6 p.m. at the Elementary School. We will discuss preparations for the Harvest Carnival and other fall events. The free sports physicals scheduled for today at Nyssa High School have been cancelled. We are working on re-scheduling them for a later date. We apologize for the inconvenience. Se ha enviado información adicional sobre cómo solicitar cambios en su horario a su correo electrónico. La escuela secundaria de Nyssa estará abierta el lunes 1 de agosto de 8:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m. y el martes 2 de agosto de 8:00 a. m. a 7:00 p. m. si necesita ayuda adicional con su horario.

Nyssa High School Families, Student schedules can now be seen in Studentvue. Additional information about how to request changes to your schedule have been sent to your student email. Nyssa High School will be open Monday Aug 1 from 8:00-3:00 and Tuesday August 2 from 8:00am-7:00pm if you need additional help with your schedule.
