Nyssa Middle School student and Malheur County Spelling Bee Champion, Ava Anderson, competes tomorrow in the quarterfinals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Anderson has made it through the initial three rounds of the Bee, in which more than half of the 250 finalists were eliminated. Watch Ava in the quarterfinals, live-streamed on ION Plus between 9:00 a.m -1:00 p.m ET.

Senior Trip Details to Lagoon: Students will leave high school parking lot Monday, May 30th @ 4am and will return that night or early the next morning, unknown time. Valley Family Health will be at the Nyssa High School this fall for FREE Sports Physicals this year! They will be here Monday, August 1st and Friday, August 5th - both days will be from 8am to 12pm and forms will be available in the front office at the end of July. All incoming freshmen will need physicals as well as any students who will expire in the coming year. If your athlete has questions on when their physical expires please have them check with me.
