A New School Year Means New Opportunities!
As we are welcoming students back to school, schedules are changing—and those changes represent something exciting: more opportunities for students to discover their level, explore their interests, and find their passion.
Students at Nyssa High School have an incredible variety of courses available to them. We are offering over 105 different class options for students this year. Allowing them to build a schedule that reflects who they are, where they are academically, and where they want to go. Including access to:
11- different ELA classes
12- different Math classes
7- different Science classes
5 - Social Studies classes
8 - Visual Arts & Performing Arts options
6 - PE & Health options
40 - plus CTE elective options
This is no easy task, but we know it represents an amazing opportunity for students to learn, grow, challenge themselves, and discover something they love.
Not every student learns the same way, has the same interests, or follows the same path—and that’s exactly why choice matters. Whether a student is looking to strengthen foundational skills, take on an advanced challenge, express themselves through the arts, stay active, or explore a career pathway, there is an opportunity to help them find their place.
As a community, let’s encourage our students to be curious, try something new, and take advantage of the opportunities available to them. Sometimes finding your passion starts with simply having the opportunity to explore it.

If you have not done so - ALL parents are required to come by the Nyssa High School Main Office to sign the student profile page in person - this gives you the chance to make final changes to your registration and verify the information we have is correct. If you have not done so, please bring proof of residency with you and if you have any questions about this we would be happy to help you out.

Schedules are printed and in the front office for students to pick up, if you need changes please come down and fill out the form for that.

Community Service Opportunity - Wednesday, July 29th at 8 a.m. the City Hall is looking for volunteers to help pull weeds and clean up around the area - please take your community service hours form to fill out and speak to Susan Barton.
